Day 1: Arrive in Tenerife
We recommend a morning flight. After arriving you will be met and transferred to your chosen base on the island for your stay. You will have time to build your bike (or pick up your hire bike) and grab some lunch. In the afternoon you will have time to ride along the coast road, taking in the stunning views.
Day 2: Mount Teide
No trip to Tenerife is the same without attempting the longest continuous road climb in Europe. You ride from sea level to the summit of Mount Teide is famous as a training route for the pros. Mount Teide dominates Tenerife. it is the 3rd highest volcano in the world and still currently active. It has been a favourite training climb of Armstrong, Nibali and Wiggins over the years and many pro teams still visit for warm weather training
Day 3: The North of the Island
Today's ride, you will ride to the North of the Island. The North and South of Tenerife are very different due the rain shadow of the Mount Teide and this ride gives you a great flavour of the beautifully changing geography of the Island. From rocky, desert lunar landscapes, to lush forest, on today's ride you will ride through it all.
Day 4: Departure day
There is one final cafe run around the lanes of Tenerife before we transfer you back to the airport. We recommend you get an afternoon or evening flight. If you want to extend this trip, this is possible.
